Red lipstick is a classic look that will always impress, but for this look I wanted to use the powder gloss in a new way. Many of DRC makeup products can be used in more ways than one, with a little creativity and a few easy tricks. To create my makeup look I started out with the base, using the shade W010 of DRC Fluid Foundation. I applied a thin layer of the product using the foundation brush (Nr. 04) and did touch ups under my eyes and on any blemishes using the concealer brush (Nr. 07) . To add a little dimension and warmth to my skin I took the powder brush (Nr.01) and applied the pressed powder in the shade W030 under my cheek bones making sure to blend it well so there were no harsh lines. A bit higher up on the cheek I lightly brushed on the fresh blush color “Peach“. With the skin done I moved on to my eyes. To match my dark hair I used the eyeshadow shade “Deep Black” to color in my eyebrows, the eye brow brush (Nr.10) has a slanted tip which helps shape the eyebrows and create a nice point at the end. Next I used the same pressed powder (W030) on my eyelids as eyeshadow and blended it well using the shadow and blender brushes (Nr. 08 and Nr. 06). And finally the tricky part, creating eye liner using the matt powder gloss “Avenue”. I took the top off of the “Pool Liner” and washed the thin brush until there was no more product on it. I then proceeded to dip it into the red lip gloss and draw a winged liner going over my eyelid. I fixed the gloss in place with a bit of loose powder and my red eyeliner was complete! The only thing left to do was to apply the powder gloss on my lips. In order to draw a clean lip form and make the lips look flawless I used the lip brush (Nr.11) and carefully painted my lips the lovely red which is “Avenue”. Something as simple as red eyeliner can make an every day look more exciting and eye catching, and with a matt foundation base and a simple eye shadow color it will look chic and creative.
