If you are bored of nude colors and blending into the crowd then DRC’s Powder Gloss “Paris” is for you. With its incredible pigment you can use it on both your eyes lips or skin and be creative.
Today I will tell you the steps it took to create this eye-catching make-up look. First of course you get your base done, I use the Fluid Foundation in the shade W010 along with Pressed Powder in the shade W030 as bronzer. For my eyebrows I simply use the eyeshadow “Deep Black” and the angled Eyebrow Brush Nr. 10.
When using the Powder Gloss on your eyes you must be careful not to put too much on your brush as it is very pigmented and a little goes a long way. I start out with the Brush Nr. 5 and start dabbing the color onto the outer half of my eyelid. Go slow and use small motions so that the product does not streak and so you can build the shape you want. Next grab the clean fluffy brush Nr. 8 and use it to blend out the edges and drag the color out into the shape you desire. Finally use the blending brush Nr. 6 to gently blend out the edges so you don’t have any harsh lines and the color tapers out beautifully.
Towards the inner part of your eyelid (the part towards your nose) you might like to have the color a bit lighter as it makes the eyes appear bright and bigger. For this I used a little of the Powder Gloss in the shade Dentelle on brush Nr.9 and applied over the inner part of the eyelid. Then use the same fluffy brush Nr. 8 to blend the two colors seamlessly together. After this you can add a bit of white eyeshadow in the shade “Ice” on the inner corner of your eyes and below the eyebrows as highlight. Next use the pool eyeliner to draw a wing at the outer corner of your eyes and whip on a bit of the Splash Mascara. The final touch is to put the Paris Powder Gloss on your lips using the Lip Brush Nr. 11 and your colorful look is complete!
Don’t be afraid to experiment and play with this beautiful color to create your own artistic make-up looks and you will feel pretty in Paris.
